QEdit v1.0c+ Miscellaneous Information
- The Ctrl + L and Ctrl + R hotkeys can be used to insert the next unused label/register in the original script editor's Add/Edit window as well as the text editor.
- Using Ctrl + N, Alt + N, Ctrl + C, or Alt + C in 3D View to add or copy a new monster/object will automatically place it at the center (X: 0 Z: 0) of the room midpoint you’re closest to. It’s recommended to be somewhat near the center of the room you’re working in when adding new monsters/objects this way.
- The Delete, Edit, and Undo hotkeys (Del, Alt + E, Ctrl + Z) can also be used inside 3D View.
- Monsters and objects can be edited in 3D View by double clicking them.
- When enabled, the “Follow selection” option in 3D Setup keeps the 3D camera viewport in sync with anything you select outside of 3D View, and opening 3D View with a monster/object selected puts you near its location.
- The “Click to place” indicator at the bottom of the main window can be toggled off and on by right clicking under or around the 2D map.
- The size of the main window’s coordinate display (located above the 2D map) can be changed by right clicking it.
